Mirra-Access Files for Voluntary Chapter 11 Protection – Envisions Speedy Exit
All Creditors to be Paid in Full
Company Will Continue to Serve Patients Without Interruption and Will Continue to Operate its Business During the Proceedings
Spring Hill, Florida /PRNewswire/ -- Mirra-Access and various affiliated entities announced that they had filed voluntary chapter 11 petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. This decision was necessitated by a specific legacy debt obligation, rather than a reflection of operational health, that ballooned prior to the Company’s scheduled timeframe to refinance, requiring a restructuring of that loan facility. The Company is focused upon restructuring or refinancing the legacy debt and anticipates seeking dismissal of the filings or propose a joint plan and disclosure statement that propose to pay all creditors in full and that will create long-term stability by restructuring the senior debt.
The Company will continue to provide uninterrupted service to its patients during the Chapter 11 case. Company founder and president Dr. Pariksith Singh stated:
“The Company will continue to provide exceptional medical care to its patients without any disruption in service, and it has the financial ability to do so. We are confident that the Reorganization Court will conclude that the plan of reorganization to be filed by the Company is fair and equitable and is capable of being quickly confirmed.”
The Company expects no disruption of its operations, and is committed to serving its patients and meeting the commitments to employees and vendors.
